Editing unscripted TV is a unique storytelling experience. I worked at highly respected production companies where I learned from talented editors and story producers. I shaped scenes, amplified emotions, delivered tension and empathy, but most of all I worked on the crucial part of storytelling to earn the audience’s trust and take them on an emotional ride.
I started as a night editor on a prestigious multiple Emmy wiining series, so it was me and the stray cats and ghosts,and grabbing dinner at, “Stripper Ralph’s” on Ventura Blvd. It was not a highlight, but a fundamental evolution of how to find and shape story.
