THE WENDY CHANNEL
Writer + Director + Editor + Guinea Pig
THE STORY: This was my first adventure into video content creation. I was living in NY, there was this new edit software called Final Cut pro and my friend had a copy. So I just said, F- it and dove and made a series around a neurotic New Yorker. Wendy thinks she’s channel for God and she’s boring, so she goes out and spices it up to get better ratings.
Turns out this web series is very philosophical and spiritual, and makes our lives meaningful. We had our premiere at a bar in the East Village called, “Remote Lounge” that fit the theme of the series.

While we were in the lobby waiting for our meeting to start, my mentor said, “It’s not about what camera you use, how much you spent, it’s about the story. When I saw Wendy at the World Trade Center trying to find the meaning of life I knew you got ” – before he could finish the receptionist interrupted, “The agent needs to reschedule, but agreed to validate your parking. He never does that.”
We then pivoted to figuring out our lunch plans to salvage the day and I forgot to ask him to complete his thought. Damn.
