After the season finale of “The West Wing, actress Melissa Fitzgerald went to refugee camps in war torn Uganda, where she worked with at risk kids to put on plays that documentaed the issues of their country. I was brought initially as an additional editor, a minor role to work and alongside award winning filmmaker Paul Freedman (Sand and Sorrow). I was assigned the crucial 3rd act. I adopted Paul’s style and laid the foundation for an inspirational conclusion to a gripping story of bravery, courage, and most of all the power to use your voice to tell your story.

THE RESULT: From this project, I forged a strong friendship with Melissa, and she has been a champion of my narrative screenplays which is a strong endorsement from a well established actress who was on all seven seasons of a popular series from one of the best writers, Aaron Sorkin. She knows good writing.
